Recruitment
To apply for a position within this company, I used the website - www.londoncentral.com (opens in a new window) to receive the application form. There are two ways to get the application form, 1) to be downloaded as a .pdf file to be printed by you at a later date and b) to use the e-mail form with your address to get an application form in the post. I chose option 'B' as printing was a bit of an issue.
Below is the .pdf file for an application form as a bus driver. Feel free to download it and see what sort of questions are asked. Remember however, this is the application form for London Central/London General - in London South, and other companies procedures may vary. If you also decide to submit this form, there is no guarantee that the company will accept it, if they have paused recruitment etc.
It does give a general idea of what they are looking for however. Should you have any further questions, please use the contact form by clicking here or post a topic in the forums!
If your application is successful, you will receive a letter through the post within 5 working days, inviting you to an interview and assessment day. The date for the interview is normally pre-determined, but is approximately 6 - 8 weeks later, giving you plenty of time to get time off. However, most companies will be happy to arrange another date should it be necessary. To find out what happens on this assessment day, please proceed to the recruitment day page.
